Goers

And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”- Romans 10:15

Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you. - James 1:27

Note from Dan Price
On your trip you will bless some of the communities with food and other necessities. You will spend time with orphans who are in great need of adult interaction. (Don't worry, you don't need to speak Spanish, the language for these kids is "play.") You will also be involved in some work projects to improve the quality of life for these people. The accommodations are humble, but very functional and secure. You can drink the water at the campus. There will be some free time built in to play basketball, swim, play cards, or just talk with the staff.

I've been on this trip twice now and want to let you know that this trip will change your life. This will be a step of growth for you as you are becoming a sacrificial follower who "goes."

Passports
Passports are necessary to travel. Get your passport application in now because it typically takes several months to arrive. US Passport page.

Phones, music, electonics...
The base facility phone is for B2B staff only. Cell phones and music devices may only be used when the group is not serving or ministering to the children and communities, whether that is on the B2B campus or at a ministry site. Beyond that, the use of cell phones or portable music is determined by the group leader's rules. If anyone becomes sick or has a problem, emergency contacts WILL be notified. Otherwise, expect to have no communication during the mission week. No news is good news!

Vaccinations
Back2Back recommends that all participants seek medical advice from their family physician, county health department, or travel health agency pertaining to vaccinations and medicine before traveling to Mexico. We also suggest visiting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention website for additional information on recommended vaccinations.

Luggage
One 50 pound bag can be checked for free on most airlines. Be sure to work with your group in finding added space for donations. Carry-on luggage may consist of a small piece of luggage plus a purse or briefcase or laptop computer or small backpack. Checked luggage that weighs more than 50 pounds and up to 70 pounds will be assessed an additional heavy bag fee. To be safe, it's recommended to check the website for the airline you will be using for current information.
